Playing in the water at Uncle Mark and Aunt Verla's!
Yesterday in the late afternoon we went over to Verla and Marks to check out their new jet ski and decided to stick around and let the kids play and watch the sunset! I "loved" it was so gorgeous I couldn't stop staring. Then that night we had smores and just enjoyed eachother's company. I was really glad that Ellie got the chance to play with all her little cousins! She needs to get to know them better and I think they finally warmed up to each other! Thanks for the great evening! I may be over again just to watch the sunset! It's so BEAUTIFUL!

Ellie's Finally Got Her Sand Box!
Yesterday Layne finally got me cornered and we decided on the size and where to put the sand box. He has been wanting to build Ellie one for months now but we just haven't had time! So we finally did it and she LOVES IT!!!! Her and her dad played in it FOREVER last night! I'm so glad they have something that they both love to do and they can do it together! Layne went over to his mom and dads and found all of his trucks and loaders so they dug up a little dirt!

Brad's Physical Therapy!
06/23/08
Last Wednesday Brad had surgery on his hand for the fourth time. So today was his first day back to physical therapy. Since Teresa was at work I took him in along with Ellie, Amanda, and Erica. It wasn't all that fun because Ellie had just got her shots that morning and was miserable and Brad was in tons of pain. But he made it through it. I don't know if guys have ever been in so much pain that you throw up. But Brad does and I'm here to tell you he is one tough little boy!!! But, we love him and pray for him to get better everyday! Keep it up Braddy!

Our Utah Adventure!!!
06/20-21/08
First Off I'm so greatful for Chip and Kenna for inviting us to go with them to Utah! We had the best time. But most importantly I'm so greatful for Layne and taking me and Ellie on a "vacation". To me going to Utah was a vacation considering the only "vacations" I went on as a child was on my Dad's time and the only thing I ever remember doing as a family is going camping while my Dad went bear hunting. So I am just glad that Layne will just take me on an over nighter so we can enjoy eachother and have a good time. Sometimes it's just nice to get away!
When we got to Utah our first adventure was getting to the aquarium. So we went to the gateway mall and come to find out it was moved to Sandy Utah two years ago. So we went to build a bear and then headed out to the aquarium. When we got there the kids loved the "sish". But I think Ellie's favorite part of the whole ordeal was sticking her hand int he sting ray water and sucking it off her fingers. No matter what she did she was licking the salt taste off her hands the whole time. Then when we were finished there we went to the Myan to eat. Now that is an adventure all in itself. It was pretty fun to watch divers over dinner. Then we went back to the hotel and went swimming. Jaylee and Ellie had tons of fun while Rigdon squirted us from the side lines. Off to bed and early at em in the morning. Not we got to sleep in and it was wonderful! Although Jaylee and Rigdon went swimming and I didn't feel like getting Ellie in the bath again so she picked up her tube and cried at the door for half an hour. Crying "Rig in"... It was actually pretty cute. They became the best of buddies over the weekend and we're so cute to watch.
The best part for me was the Zoo. I love Zoo's and it was definately a highlight. But what was so crazy about the whole ordeal is Ellie didn't really care about any of the animals other then the stinkin "kitty kitty's"... She flopped herself right in front of their cage and just stuck out her hands saying "mer kitty kitty"... It was definately pricless. You truly know what that girl loves and those are her kittys.
Overall it was a wonderful weekend and I can't wait for many more adventures with my family!

Happy Fathers Day!!!

Father's Day is a pretty sensitive day for me. I get to think of all the good and the bad that go along with Father's. Once upon a time I thought the world of my Dad. Since then he has done things that I do not agree with and I haven't talked to him for almost six years. But luckily enough I married a Man that has made me realize the importance of being a Dad. Layne has been everything I could of ever hoped for in a husband and father. A few weeks ago in relief society we were talking about spiritual experiences that we have had and one imparticular thought came to my mind. It was two days after Ellie was born she wasn't eating and she was pretty much a carrot and she was remitted to the hospital. Her johndus was through the roof! I was devistated and scared and Layne's instinct took over and through sobbing tears he gave her the most beautiful father's blessing I have ever heard . I remember looking up at him and thanking Heavenly Father for such a wonderful husband. It was just amazing to me that just in three days of having a child the love that grows inside you. A father is instantly taken over by a precious little girl that now runs the house. I just want him to know how much I love him and am so greatful for the father he is to Ellie and all the things that he is teaching her!
And a Happy Father's Day to Val and Fred. Thanks for all you do and I hope that you guys know how much we love you!I HATE THE FLU!!!!

Just so all of you know. I HATE THE FLU!!! I woke up Saturday morning not feeling very well and there was no way I was going to give in to throwing up but I had to choice when it finally started to really hit! Thank goodness for Dr. Hanson whom told me about this very POTENT grapefruit extract. He swore by it after I threw my back out with the flu last time. And I took it and it was the best thing in the world. I still didnt' feel very good but I didn't throw up after I took it. Then Ellie got the flew yesterday and I tricked her in to taking a tiny bit and she did really well with it to. So if you ever need to borrow it just call. It's amazing stuff! And sorry Layne I had the flu on Father's day! What a bummer! I missed the crab legs and had chicken noodle soup instead!

Let me just start by saying that Kenna is one tough cookie!!! I needed to head to Twin so I could get my contacts ordered and Kenna needed to go to the fabric store so she actually took us because obviously we would not have fit in my car! Needless to say it was an experience but I wouldn't of changed it for the world! We had a blast and I now know why people have mini vans. They have so much room that it is just amazing! Oh and thanks to Amanda for going with us and helping us out! 
This picture is just so cute to me! One day those two will be friends and say "Remember When..." Which I hope that they will be friends and will be able to enjoy this picture as much as I do! They just look so sweet and innocent! Even though everyone really knows how those two really are! LOL!!!

I got a phone call about 10:15 a.m. and it was Ryn saying "Hi Aunt Krissy"! I was so confused! So, He precedes to tell me that Kerri had her baby and I pretty much called him a liar for about 5 minutes till I realized he was telling the truth and I was so excited. I didn't believe him cause I had just talked to Kerri the day before. But that Kerri is one heck of a girl. This is her third baby without an epidural. I personally think she is nuts but what the heck do I know! Anyways just wanted to congratulate them and I'm so excited that this little girl is finally here. Although I got to say it was a little weird seeing a Ryn and Kerri baby with a bow in her hair! But she is super cute and Ellie and I ran over and saw her as soon as we could! Welcome Little Miss Rylee to this crazy and exciting family

I was getting ready for bed and decided to check on Ellie. When I walked in this is what I saw! Her feet through the edge of the crib! It's so hard to believe that she is getting so big. I remember putting her in her crib for the first time and thinking she is never going to fill this thing. and Now a little over a year and a half later. I think it's time for the "Big Girl Bed". Now we just have to convince that dad of hers

Ellie's New Car!

On Sunday ( I know!!! ) I talked my mom into getting Ellie her first car! So we put it together and she rode around all day! She was so excited and enjoyed torturing her aunt and uncle to push her around in it every where!
OH. this is a scary picture. Someday she will be 16 and driving in a big girl car! I'm not looking forward to those days!
Just notice the shoes that my sister put on her to wear to church. I just giggled about it all day! At least it matched her dress right?!

My mom took half the day off work so that she could go to Lewiston with me and Ellie to run some errands and visit with my older sister! I first took mom to lunch for her birthday since I missed it and then we went shopping and finished up at Costco! Where Ellie threw the biggest fit I have ever seen her throw and of course she got her way by prociding to throw her self kicking and screaming, tossing and turning until I gave in and gave her one of my sister's cupcakes that she had just purchased! And we all know how HUGE those cupcakes are! Well, Ellie got one and loved every bit of the "FROSTING".... I just couldn't help but take pictures of her great success

I decided to take Ellie on a little adventure and show her where I grew up and show her all the things there is to see! As soon I realized she could care less so I decided to just take a few pictures so that I can take you on a virtual tour of Orofino. (Well, Sort of!)
This is a picture of the dworshak dam from a far! In the back ground you can kinda tell what the area is like! Just full of trees. Tons and tons of trees!
This is just a picture of where my step dad works with a combination of the river. The river was so high that the last time that it was this high was in 1960's. Just crazy for me. When I was home this time it's the first time I have ever felt closterphobic by just being down in the valley! It was kinda a scary feeling knowing that if anything were to happen you have no where to go!
This is a "statue" of a fish spawn! You can only imagine how many jokes are made about it!

But the lake is usually full and full is where the line is marked almost up to the trees! 
This is just a small portion of the lake. The lake is anywhere between 30 to 40 miles long. It's huge and very calm. For those of you that love water sports, this is the place to be! 
This is just a picture of the area surrounding the lake where there is a huge playground for the kids! Ellie and I loved it. We were the only ones there and played for a few hours!

Our Adventure to Orofino!

Today Ellie and I left to Orofino at around 10:00 A.m. to pick up Jessica in Jerome and take her to my Mom and Step Dad's for the summer! She is on vacation from school and we were in charge of getting her home! Layne and Brad were going to go up with me but the last minute plans changed and they stayed home so Ellie and I actually got to stay longer then we were planning! It took us about seven hours to get there because we had to make a few stops and the most important being carter's outlet. I LOVE THAT STORE! Ellie is a big advertisment for them. about 90% of her clothes are from there! And thanks to KENNA for being such a super great friend. She let me borrow her DVD player! WHAT A LIFE SAVER! I have no idea how my parents ever managed five kids on trips to southern Idaho! I would of killed all of us! But, that was such a blessing to me and kept Ellie very entertained!
Ellie was stuffed in the backseat between all of our stuff because we stuffed the trunk with 10 garbage bags of Jessica's stuff! She didn't mind more things to play with!
The first morning we got there Ellie was already into everything! New stuff, new adventures. Mom learned to put the cat food away after this fisaco! It was actually really funny! More or less she just wanted to help!Wednesday, June 4, 2008
Ellie and Ava!
Yesterday my sister and I went to Sears and got our daughters pictures taken! Ava is 2 1/2 months old and a SUPER chunk. But she is so cute! and I kinda thought that her and Ellie deffinately look like they are related. I just couldn't believe how big Ellie is getting!
