Happy 77 Granny
While we were in Boise with Granny we found out it was her birthday on Sunday. On the way home from boise Ellie started in asking if we can go and sing Happy Birthday to her on Sunday. I love it that she is so into Birthday's and more importantly she loves her Granny June whom which she is named after. First thing Sunday morning she was begging her Dad to take her to Granny's and wanted me to help her make Cuppy-Cakes. So I told her I would make them if she would frost them. So I made them and wouldn't you know it she frosted a few and then was done. I love projects that Mom get's to finish in the end. That afternoon we took her to sing Happy Birthday to Granny and they both enjoyed a cup cake. I love memories like this with Granny because you just never know!
Saturday Trip To Boise
A week ago we found out my Mom has Thyroid Cancer. I was glad to know that she was making a quick trip to Boise on Saturday so I can run up and see her and have a clear concious knowing that she is going to be okay. So we spent the day with Jessica and matt we had a great time and I loved spending time with my Mom, Granny, Sister Jessica and my two Beauties! We spent the afternoon at the zoo and then off to Jessica's apartment where Jessica, Matt, Me and the girls went swimming. It was a FUN DAY!
Tree Project...Take 2
So Layne has been bugging me for YEARS to push over the trees lining our drive way. I have not given in on account that it would look STUPID but when he was pushing the other trees over I said maybe we ought to push them over. Not even 5 minutes later Layne was out the door in the loader pushing them over. I barely had time to get my camera and snap a few pictures. When he pushed them over they fell quicker then I would even like to admit. When they did come down they snapped right at the bottom and hardly pulled any stump up with it. I can't even imagine what would of happened if I had not let him knock them over. So I guess there is a reason I gave in and I hate to admit it but it does clean up the area alot and will make it easier to grow grass there. So 4 HUGE trees, one crab apple tree, and a random pole later we now have so much fire wood it will last us FOREVER!

Tree Project
While Layne had the loaded over at the house he decided to take advantage and know a "few" trees over. I told him to go pick out a chainsaw for Father's Day and he was DYING to use it. So while I was helping Layne do this....
I turned my back to find Ellie doing this.... Again! I told her she could jump on the trampoline with the sprinkler underneath it. What I didn't expect was to turn around and have my NUDE child jumping on the tramp. She has been catching me off guard lately. Saying the funniest things and copying everythign I say thanks to the full house episodes she has been watching. Gotta love it!

Friday Afternoon
I really enjoy camping. I especially enjoyed this year because Ellie had someone to play with the whole time and wasn't bugging me to do soemthing the whole time. Thanks everyone for the fabulous camping trip. Although I didn't get any pictures of the ward campout we had alot of families show up and eat and the majority came and stayed the night. Overall it was a very enjoyable weekend!

Fishing during the Campout
While fishing we didn't catch ONE thing but it sure was a good way to waste two hours of the day. Letting the little ones throw in rocks and be near the water.
Best Friends Forever
I'm pretty sure someday.... They are going to absolutely LOVE or HATE eachother. I'm just not sure which way it's going to go yet. But for right now... Ellie adores Pete. She tells everyone that he is her boyfriend and that they are going to get married in the temple when they are thirty (because that is the age her and her Dad agreed on) when he stops pooping his pants. I only say that because it is said in my house everyday. The first thing Ellie says every morning is "can pete come over" or "can I go to Pete's house today?". Pretty cute. I love watching these two together. Sometimes it worries me because they like to kiss and sometimes they get a little out of hand. LOL
Ward Campout/Family Campout
Every year the Darrington side of the family tries to go on a family campout during the summer. Well, since Layne and I are the activities chairmen for the ward we decided to combine the family campout with the ward campout. We went up thursday night to hold our spot for the ward campout. We enjoyed our first night of camping out. It was kinda chilly but we made up for it by dressing warm. Not only did the Darringtons campout but the Harris clan decided to make it worth their time and come up a night early too. I was so excited so Ellie could have someone to play with. The first night we set up everything and just enjoyed sitting around the campfire.
When is to BIG!!!
Have I ever mentioned that my little chubby bunny loves to swing. Well, she does day or night all the time she loves her swing. Since I borrowed it from Kenna and it is so warn in that I have to push the swing th start the swinging process. Kenna will be getting a brand new one. I know that there is a WEIGHT limit so "how big is too big?" I hate to take it away because she still loves it and can practicully pull herself out of it. But I just don't think I'm ready to give it up just quite yet! She loves it too much and since she does, I REALLY DO!
The Girls
I had been working on homework and Ellie says "Mom take pictures of me a Jayci." So of course I was happy to oblige. Ellie loves posing and Jayci just loves to do anything Ellie does so we had a good time taking pictures. I just love how Ellie is very protective of Jayci. If anyone even thinks of taking Jayci she automatically lets them know that she is the big sister and she needs to stay with her. I am pretty sure I am in love with these two Beauties!

Six Months and Counting...
I can't believe how much the time has flown by. I can not believe Monster Jayci is 6 months old. But I don't know what I have ever done with out her. I would say that she could definitely complete our family but I know that is not true. I know that there is at least one more little angel out there for me. But I just have to brag on this little cutie for a while.
- If you would like a shower then come talk to Jayci. When she is excited or wants to communicate with you at all. She is going to blow raspberries all over you till both of you are soaked.
- She pretends like she is a monster ONLY when her hands are in her mouth. She is quite until your hand or hers is in that mouth then watch out she gets louder and louder with every second.
- Her laugh is HILARIOUS! We thought Ellie had a "LOTT" laugh. Think again. Jayci has by far out done her sister. I love making her laugh. She laughs easy for me but won't for her Daddy.
- She is SOOO ticklish. Her chubby little legs and arms are so fun to tickle cause she goes insane!
- Her favorite person in the whole world is her sister. They crack me up. Jayci is convinced she is the funniest person on the planet. If Ellie walks into the room when Jayci is crabby she will instantly quiet down and just giggle at her sister. Layne and I will be talking and in the other room when Ellie and Jayci both will have the giggles so bad Layne and I will get them too.
I sure love this little girl and am so excited to see what the next six months bring.
