Controlled house fire

Layne's boss bought some land with a house on it. They wanted to get it cleaned up and burn everything off, so they asked the volunteer fire department if they wanted to have a practice house. Of course they loved the idea! They started the fire and put it out twice. The third time they started it they let it burn! It was amazing to watch. Ellie was just a TAD freaked out, but soon felt the warmth and knew everyone was okay. It wasn't burning as fast as they wanted so the boys being Darrington's poured a gallon of gasoline in the part of the house that wasn't on fire! And when that fire found it it burned hot. Men!

When ever I see a rainbow my sweet angel always comes to mind! Because the way I see it, she's sliding down them squealing with delight!

Letters from Ellie

Ellie is learning to write words the way they sound!im not going to lie I have a very hard time deciphering what she is writing! Thank goodness her dad is a genius and gets it every time. It just melts my heart when she writes us love notes! Aren't they cute!!!

Surgery

Layne got his surgery a few weeks ago and is finally moving around "OKAY" today. I'm so glad they just removed the torn part rather then repaired it. It's been a long enough recovery with out repairing I don't know what I would of done with him on crutches 90% of the time for at least 6 weeks. Either way it all went well. Isn't he cute.

It's pretty hard seeing some one you love in pain and there is nothing you can do about it. Not to mention usually I'm the one in the hospital bed NEVER him!

I used to always like the number 22, it reminds me of fond jr high memories!  Whenever I see or hear it now it makes my heart skip a beat! It gives me one day a month to reflect on my sweet angel! It's been a long, short, miserable, blessed (almost) two years! My life has changed, I have changed! I have grown spiritually but have been down mentally! Grief is so hard to cope with, you never know how you will react one minute to the next. But one thing I do know, not a day goes by that I don't think of my sweet Jayci! That I don't at least say one thing about her to her sisters or dad and never forget to say a prayer on her behalf.
 
Easter is such a special time to reflect on our Savior and remember that he died for us that we may all live again! I am blessed to know that I get to hold my baby again! It's comforting to know that she thinks its only a blink of an eye and I'll be back to scoop her in my arms! I love you my sweet Jayci Lillian you are always in my thoughts and forever in my heart!
 

It's back..,

The trampoline is back and we couldn't be more excited! I love that we can finally put it up all the way! Ellie thinks it makes her bounce higher but really she's just better and growing up!

Shopping like a big girl

Ohhhh... I can't believe she is big enough to sit in this stroller! Pulled at mom's heart strings a little bit! Cute little stink!

Happy 8th anniversary

8 years! We have had the highest of highs and lowest of lows but are still madly in love! I love him more with each passing day! Being married to my best friend and partner in crime is an adventure everyday! I love you darlin! Thanks for all that you do for me and our little girls!!!

Adventures with hobby

Layne and I needed a babysitter last minute for our anniversary do we called uncle hobby and he was more then happy to take them! I get a little apprehensive because hobby doesn't change poopy diapers! I'm sure he would if he had to but that absolutely would be last resort! Lucky for him she only had a wet bum! After we left Ellie has been begging to go back! Glad they had such a fun time!!! Thanks Kelly we love ya!
