Our New Neighbors

So we had a family of these nasty looking foxes move in. I think they are half coyote half fox and they are ugly. Layne has been trying to kill them but he keeps missing. He has got 2 out of 5 babies and mom and dad are still around somewhere. The problem with them is they hiss and growl and I don't want them around the house because of Ellie she would probably try to love on them. Not to mention I'm sure they would love to eat PETE the cat and that would REALLY MAKE ME MAD! So I had to get a picture of them but now Layne is allowed to kill the rest.

"HERN" Kaylen's Farwell

Hern knows that he is loved. If you ever saw him and Ellie play together it would melt your heart. Hern is so wrapped around her finger just like her Uncle Brad. Since he left Hern took his spot. Now that Hern is leaving I told Ellie that she still has Jack and she said "Mom he is mean and weird" LOL love ya Jack. Anyways Kaylen is only known in our house as Hern and no one will convince Ellie other wise not even his Mom. If you refer to him as Kaylen she will have no idea what your talking about. We sure do love that kid!

Softball Districts in Glenns Ferry

For two weeks we have been preparing to play Glenns Ferry for the District Championships. We have practiced hard and were confident headed into the game. When the games started we looked tough and everyone's goal was to BEAT them. So the first game was pure determination and heart. We won 8-3 and never gave up. The second game started out well too but in the 5th inning we were making a few mental errors which caused them to take the lead by 4. So it was 4-8. Top of the sixth. Kylee was leading off and hit an awesome double. Out on 2nd base she yells "I've hit mine now who's next?" which lead to everyone hitting and seven runs scored. With that we won the second game 11-8... Way to be AMAZING Hornets... all the way to state.

Happy 28 to Me!!!

I had a FANTASTIC birthday. It started with a step on the scale and being down exactly 20 lbs. Which I might add was my goal. I still have 10 to go but for now. I'm just proud of myself for sticking to it. I do have a little motivation (goal of 135 Layne is booking a CRUISE!!!) to keep me going. I usually get a ALL AMERICAN CHOCOLATE CAKE from Costco but decided against it this year because if I got it I would continue eating it. So I decided to have brownies which were just as fantastic. Thanks everyone for sharing my birthday with me. LOVE YOU ALL!

Pajama Party

We have been waiting for Amanda and Kevin and Cousin Ava to get here all week. Ellie could hardly stand herself. As soon as they got here INSTANTLY they were best friends. As soon as Ellie would leave Ava's sight Ava would say "where my Ellie"... and Ellie would say "Mom where is my best friend Ava?" They sure were cute together and had such a great time. Ava was cute and innocent but by the time she left... she left with a little bit of Ellie flare... and I'll gaurentee it's not all pleasant! Thanks for visiting guys, We LOVE YOU!

Happy Mothers Day

Mothers Day was fabulous this year. I loved my roses (thanks Darlin) and all the hugs and kisses from my girls. Ellie loved to tell me "Happy Mother's Day Mom your the best." and I also loved it when she sang during Sacrament meeting. I thought it was so cute when she thought that all the kids were only singing to me. I had to convince her that all the kids were singing to their mom's to. Pretty cute.
We also got to talk to Braddy and we loved it. He is doing so good and seems so happy. We sure do LOVE that kid!

Bathing Beauties

Jayci is such a mover that no matter where I bathe her I am socked along with everything around us. So it was time to throw her in the tub with Ellie and use the bumbo. Which is so much easier for me so I can bathe two girls at one time.

Happy Baby in the Morning!

I love walking in and finding this sweet baby all smiles in the morning. Today she is 5 months, I just cannot believe it. She is getting to be such a joy to be around. She is very alert and loves to watch everything that is going on around her. Most the time she is pretty serious but when she feels like smiling shes light up the room. She hasn't rolled over yet, I'm afraid when she does it's going to be all down hill from there! Trying to keep up with Ellie is hard work but I am sure she is determined to do it!

Baby Jump-a-Roo

My friend Angela watched the girls for me while I had a softball game. When I went to pick them up I noticed her jumper thing. They have a baby boy but he is mobile now and can't stand to be confined. I put Jayci in it and instantly she started jumping and turning circles in the chair to play with all the toys. I'm pretty sure I asked to borrow that and Jayci has spent ALOT of time jumping and jumping in Ang's Jump-a-roo...
