Busy Busy BuSsssY!!!

The months of August, September and October go by very fast for me. I look forward to them every year but am very grateful when they are over. Volleyball literally takes up so much of my time that we don't get anything else accomplished. My house is a disaster and Layne and Ellie don't get a "normal" dinner for at LEAST 2 months and an occasional Sunday. I feel bad, but love what I do. I have been overly stressed this year with my volleyball girls. They are working so hard but have a hard time coming together as a team. I hope that by the end of the season they will figure it out. Along with coaching, I'm going to start substituting for Mr. Christensen at the high school. He is having surgery and I offered to help with his class because I am going to be a math teacher and will look forward to that experience for 8 days straight. Then October will be here, I'll have NOT very long to get prepared for "baby Boots". I have not done ONE thing to get ready for a baby in my home. I at least found my new born cloths they are sitting down stairs in the basement waiting to be washed. So in two weeks my life will be dedicated to getting ready for the baby and getting through volleyball. When October is over that little angel may come any time she wants.

Granny's House

We were at my Granny's on saturday and she needed to feed the baby calves their bottle. So Jacob and Ellie went out and fed the babies for her. I feel bad cause Ellie used to do this with her Dad all the time and since we haven't had calves in awhile she has forgotten how. But she quickly remember how much she loved them and was kissing all over this little guy. I love watching her love on any kind of animal. She is truly a Farm Girl!

Wishes do come true....

On Friday, we went over to celebrate with the Anderson family for Trey getting his Make-A-Wish. All he ever wished for was for him and his brothers to have a secret hide out and a car to get around the dairy. Well, he got his secret hideout. It was pretty cool and all the kids loved playing in it. Tyler and Trey were exceptionally excited as soon as they were able to play on it, they never left it except to eat. We love the Anderson family and are so excited for them and their make a wish. It was truly a day to CELEBRATE!

The Tree House

The watcher. When ever I went to look for Ellie she was standing by the FOOD. Like mother like daughter I guess. But I never once found her up in the tree house. Perhaps that is because she didn't go up EVER until I forced her up with me. Even then she kicked and screamed and wanted down. Ellie and heights are just NOT a good combination!

Storybook Park

Last week Kenna wanted to use Ellie as a dummy to take some pictures. So we thought we would make a day of it lunch, pictures, and then to the park. Well, we went to lunch at subway made it to where she wanted to take some pictures and it turned into a fiasco. With Ellie wanting to run around with Rigdon and Kendrie wanting to get out of the car seat I don't think she had much luck getting very many pictures. Usually Ellie would be all about POSING for Kenna and smiling but not today. She is very EASILY distracted. Then it was off to the park. Ellie was rippin and roaring to go play, she hopped out of the car got to the park and STOOD and watched everyone else. The only thing she even thought about doing was jumping on this tarp bridge. I guess I have realized she is one I will never have to worry about when it comes to falling and getting hurt. She is WAY to timid to even go down a slide. So I guess my biggest fear with her would have to be loving up to somebody and leaving with them, since she has no fear of people.
