  I watched Laney bear crawl to this puddle, sit right in the middle of it, and just smile sticking out the giraffe tongue. (thinking she is getting away with some thing bad) Layne and I laughed and Ellie FREAKED out because she was going to get dirty.  I explained to her that clothes will wash and she needs a bath anyway. She gave me a "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU LOOK" and moved on. I appreciate that Laney is as "beastly" as her sister. It makes me appreciate the things I always complained about with Jayci. It actually gives me the opportunity to reflect on Jayci's life every single day and I am so thankful my Father in Heaven knew that is exactly what I needed.

 I have to say that this really does my heart good. I know people think I am crazy to let my kids play in the water (knowing our history) but it just makes me smile.

 We are completely embracing the CRAZY.

Eric's Farwell. I'm sure going to miss this kid and his sweet personality. I am going to miss him playing the piano and the peace he brings when he does it. I know he will be an amazing missionary and he'll touch the lives of many in Alaska.

Ready or not, my Ellie is leaving me all day every day. I am not going to lie and say I"m excited about it because I am not. I have had this chic by my side through every good and bad day. We have cried, laughed, and shopped till we dropped. I'm not handling this next chapter very well and when I express my concern to her She says, "Don't worry Mom, Mrs M. will let me call and check on you once and awhile."  I sure hope this is the case because I am going to miss my best friend and partner in crime.

We lost our poor kitty last week and it broke my heart. But we know he is in a happy place getting all the attention he needs from our sweet angel. Jayci and Pete were always in separable so I'm sure it was a very happy reunion in Heaven! We are going to miss ya PETE the Parrot!

Cousin Jack left on his mission for two years to London England. We sure love this kid and are going to miss him but he is going to change the lives of the people in England. He is an amazing kid. See ya soon, Buddy!

My sweet hubby knows how much I love RUSSIAN OLIVE trees so he took us on a ride that took me by HUNDREDS of them. I loved it and we ended up by the river. It was a beautiful night for an amazing ride.

Home sweet home!

I'll be honest. I was kinda sad to be leaving my Mom's But I couldn't wait to be home with my hubby and my bed. I slept like a BABY when we got home and our girls loved being in the own beds too!
