An Ellie Funny...

Ellie has really been into showers lately. They are quicker and just more convenient. So she was just in the shower and had to go to the bathroom so bad  she was dancing. I told her to just go. She looked at me and asked quite seriously "Really?" I told her yeah if you stand up and go it won't get all over you. She got the giggles so bad. She couldn't even force herself to go. We laughed and laughed. She even sat down and tried and just could not do it. She never did end up going but she sure gave it a college try.  She is quite the girl.

Top 10 for 2012

1. We welcomed our sweet baby girl Laney Marcine.
2. My Brother and Sister got married and Layne's Sister will add to that at the end of January. So that means we have 2 new brother in laws and 1 sister in law. And we love all of them.
3. Ellie Started Kindergarten.
4. Krissy passed my praxis II for Secondary Math.
5. We went to Disneyland, Universal Studios and Sea World.
6. We were given a very generous gift so that Ellie could go meet the man of her Dreams... Justin Bieber.
7. I have amazing friends and husband who gave me the best surprise 30th birthday!
8. Ellie and I went to California with the Osterhout's! We saw the Golden Gate bridge, lake Tahoe, Oakland temple, and ate at fenton's!
9. Ellie made her Mom proud by choosing to play t-ball.
10. Jayci got her headstone.

I don't think she could be any sweeter! I sure have loved having this little lady around to snuggle. She has added so much joy this Christmas Season. We are so lucky to have three beautiful girls! I am so lucky to be a mother of an angel. It gives Christmas a whole new meaning to me!

First ever Gingerbread House!

We have been doing the Elf on the Shelf for the last few years but this year is the first time I have actually gotten into doing different things other then moving him from place to place. This particular day I figured we needed to do some thing as a family so I bought a Gingerbread house and Buddy our Elf delivered it. Ellie LOVED it! It took us a LONG time but for our first one ever it turned out pretty cute.  Looking forward to next years and actually have an idea of what I am doing!

Dad was the builder and Ellie and I were the decorators. Laney sat in her bouncy chair and observed!

 

 

 

LAST ever Denton Darrington Christmas Party

This is the last year Denton will host a treasure/junk party from all of his meetings. He retired this year and was excited to throw his last party. I know that Denton has been having this party since my husband was little. I love that he always included every one and made sure all the kids had lots of treasures.  We will sure miss it but I'm sure someone will fill it's time with something else!

My Dad came up for the weekend to visit so we took him, the girls, matt and Jess up to see the christmas lights. We like to get up there once every year and were running out of time so I am glad that we were able to make it. It was a fun night and an even better dinner.  Thanks Dad for dinner and spending some time with us.

They are getting married!

I never thought that Erica would be the next one to get married but we couldn't be more excited!
She has picked one of the nicest guys I know.
I cannot wait to see what the future holds for these two.
