Easter For Jayci
It was finally warm enough to take Laney up to the cememtary! We enjoyed an hour of sunshine. Ellie sat with Laney and told her fun things her sister did. I Loved to sit back and watch. I am so lucky to have 3 beautiful daughters who influence my life. I love being a mother and am espeically grateful for Jesus Christ who died so we may all live again. I am so grateful for the knowledge that I have that we live with our families forever and I can continue to raise Jayci from the moment that we physically parted here on Earth. For this I cannot wait.

Swimming and Spring Break

All Ellie wanted to do was go swimming for spring break. They had an assignment to write a sentance on their spring break activities. So I decided to make a few days of it and take her shopping and go swimming with my sister at 1000 springs resort in hagerman. Well, we were running a little late which I find this to be a tender mercy! When we got to the swimming pool life flight was flying above our head and I got the worst feeling in the pit of my stomach. The one that I get every time I am put in a situation that reminds me of Jayci's accident. Well we walked in and sure enough, there had been an accident and a little 5 year old girl had drowned but been brought back. It was so sad and very scary. I have never felt the way I did at that moment sence Jayci's passing. So many raw and hard feelings to face. It was comforting because when we got there the little girl had gained conciousness and was responding. The little girls Mom was not with them and I just felt so bad for her knowing how hard that phone call is. I'm so glad that she was able to have good news and that their sweet little girl went home the next day.
There was a few other things that went on while we were there that I don't really want to discuss but just know it was awful! I felt So sick to my stomach and had a really hard time even getting my self in the water. Had my sister and brother in law not been there I probably wouldn't have gotten in. But Jess had Laney undressed and in the water before I could even think straight. Which was a good thing I can't keep her out of harms way but I can protect them the best way I know how. And just like all the rest of my kids, little Laney was in WATER HEAVEN! It's so scary to let them love it but I know that thy will of the Lord will be done. I can't protect them if the will of the Father is to bring them home. It's so hard to face this reality but it's true. I love my kids and will do everything in my power to show and teach them everything I can.
I eventually calmed down and loved it. Ellie has become quite the swimmer and brave little gal. She went down the slide all by herslef over and over. Something that she never does. I sure love my girls and would do anything for them. Our family is forever!
