I just have to say that yesterday was not my day. It started at 7:30 a.m. and ended at midnight last night. I started the day with bad news from my mentor at school. He let me in on some stuff I didn't really want to know and was disappointed to hear. Which led to breakfast. Ellie woke up in a very talkative mood as I was giving her a hard time she said "Mom your such a cutie, but Kenna is still the best cook ever!" Actually I laughed pretty good about that one. She loves Kenna and loves to compliment her when ever she eats over there. She tells her things like this is the best food ever, or this is Delicious. After breakfast and fighting with Ellie about getting her hair done we went to park till about one. Then I fixed lunch. after getting the kitchen cleaned up it was on to homework. I didn't work very long on it cause I was in a very irritated state of mind so I watched my shows from the DVR. At three o'clock came practice time. I went and got Emily and dropped them all off at home. At practice it was hitting day and so at one point I was helping Stormie Kidd with a batting station. As I was standing RIGHT in front of her she did what I asked her to do but forgot to wait till I moved out of the way. So she tossed the ball, swung the bat full speed and it smacked me DIRECTLY in the middle of my thigh. OUCH!!! It took me a minute not to cry and gain composer. It's a really pretty bruise but not a way I would recommend to get one. Then about 15 minutes later I was helping at another station. It was called blind batting. The player had to close their eyes and right as the pitcher was releasing she would say open and then had to find the ball and hit it. Well, unfortunately I was the pitcher and my sister-in-law was the batter. I said open and she hit the ball really good I might add. Except that it was a line drive right centered on my left BOOB! The same side as the bat incident. So needless to say I was ready for practice to be over.
THEN.... I went home made dinner and watched a few good shows. Layne left to go to the late show with Kelly. So I went down stairs around 11 (I was playing on the computer) to start another load of laundry! I could smell something rotten! I was thinking maybe it was a dirty dish rag with milk in or something. If you know me at all you know that I SMELL EVERYTHING!!! And I would say I have a pretty good sniffer. Anyway, I got down on my hands and knees and was smelling around as I was digging through the laundry on the floor I could smell that I was getting closer to the source. So I stayed right down in it. I lifted up a piece of clothing and ALMOST stuck my nose in a DEAD MOUSE!!!!!!!!!! (still thinking about it right now makes me want to throw up) And if you didn't know this about me I louthe MICE OR RATS.... They are the most disgusting thing on the face of this planet! So of course I run upstairs practically disinfect my face with hand sanitizer, wash my face twice with a bar of soap and brush my teeth 3 times!!!! After that I wrote Layne a VERY LONG and explicit note and left it taped to the door! Since he wasn't home yet he would still need to take care of that nasty thing downstairs on top or setting up mouse traps and cleaning up the cloths! Cause by now there was no way I was heading down there. So as I was washing my face for the fourth time Layne drove in and came in the house LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY! Because he knows how much I hate mice. After making fun of me for 5 minutes he went downstairs and did all the things I requested on my note. 20 minutes later we were both in bed and I couldn't sleep cause every time I closed my eyes I could see and smell that dirty little mouse. I OPENED the window wide and just tried to listen the thunder and rain. Finally I fell asleep around 1:30.... What a CRAPPY DAY!

First Mowing of the Year!
Today was the first mowing of the day! When the first mowing comes it usually means Ellie riding on the mower with Uncle Hobbie, Ellie trying to persue me to let her run in the sprinkler and Tank trying to eat the water spraying out of the sprinkler. Well, Ellie got to ride with Hobbie. She talked her DAD into letting her run in the sprinkler. He said to her Take your cloths off and run in the sprinkler. So because she is her she stripped clear down to her birthday suit and ran through the sprinkler and jumped on the tramp! Then she was cold and wanted a HOT TUB bath! And yes Tank got to chase his first sprinkler of the year. And boy did her ever NEED it. It was definately time for a bath!
Ellie and Lilli
This morning I went to a doctors appointment and asked Tiff if she wouldn't mind watching the girls. When I went to pick them up I brought Lilli home with us and her and Ellie jumped and jumped until they couldn't jump anymore. They were pretty cute. I am so glad that Tiffany and I coach softball together. I have sure enjoyed her company. We share many, MANY laughs together at softball practice on the bus and especially at the games.

Sunday Best
The girls haven't been able to wear their Easter Dresses until today so I took a few pictures to just get a glimpse of our family session to come with Kenna. I think that the girls are growing up so fast and are getting to look more and more like sisters everyday.
Called To Serve
Saturday we went through the temple with "Hern" aka Kaylen. He is leaving June 9 to Mexico and we couldn't be more excited for him. It was a beautiful day at the temple. Not only inside but outside too. The flowers and trees are in full bloom. I loved it. I wish that the little girls were with me so I could of got some pictures of them there to. It was such a gorgeous day!
Jumping Bunny
I was watching TV when I hear the bounce bounce bounce. Instead of yelling at me to come and wipe her she jumps to me with her pants down and shirt pulled up says "Mom come wipe my stinky bumb" and bounces back to the bathroom. Mean while she has not taken her eyes off of the TV in my room the ENTIRE time. So I was able to snap a quick picture and she didn't even know. I especially loved the pony tail holding up her bangs. They are sticking straight up. All day I was teasing her and calling her rooster! She hated it!
A Lesson On Rolling Over
A few days ago I was telling Ellie that Jayci was getting pretty close to rolling over. Well, Ellie decided to take it upon herself to "TEASSS" (aka Teach) Jayci how to woll Ovea. (We are having a hard time with our "R"s lately so it's really funny to hear Ellie talk.) So she was explaing her to put her arm under her and pull herself over. It was pretty cute. After a while Ellie lost intrest and was just haning out. So as the girls were just sitting there it looked like at one point that they were indian leg restling. Jayci was trying to kick Ellie and Ellie used her leg to block Jayci from kicking her. I also love it when babies find their feet. Jayci has been so cute sucking on her toes and pulling her feet to her head. I always get a kick out of her when she does pull her feet to her head she is always tooting really LOUD! She has been so far a very GASSY baby. She is still pretty cute!

Darrington Easter Egg Hunt
This year we had the Easter Egg Hunt one week after Easter because the day we had planned to have the "hunt" we got snow and really didn't want all the kids out hunting eggs when it was so cold. With it being the week after Easter there was TONS of eggs and not very many kids. So the kids made a haul. Some had to dump there baskets and go again. Ellie of course is SO SLOW and just enjoyed watching everyone that she had one basket full and was satisfied with that. Which is totally her personality. Once it was full she was determined to swing on the swings for a while and THEN go in and open up all her eggs. Once she started opening them up she couldn't stop. Aunt Verla went all out and got the kids tons of fun stuff. Plus put lots of money in the eggs. And wouldn't you know it Ellie was the big winner with a "10 DOLLAR BILL". Of course to her it's just a dollar. She doesn't understand that dollar bills have different values. But the other kids were sure excited for her. Not only did she get 10 bucks but also a gum ball machine. She was in Heaven! I wish that I could get video of her chewing gum. It's so cute! I usually get disgusted when kids chew gum with their mouth open. But Ellie chews her gum out the side of her mouth just like she talks and her dimple shows the whole time. She is just funny sometimes! Jayci also got to hang out with her cousin Kypton and you would never guess that he is two months older then her! He is so tiny and she is so big so they are about the same size. I hope that they are great friends just like Ellie and his older brother Garrett! My girls will both need a boy cousin to protect them from others because they don't have any brothers of their own! And thanks to Aunt Jana for watching Jayci while we were out hunting eggs. Thank goodness she was her typical honary self and was very nice and talkative. Overall it was a FANTASTIC Easter Egg Hunt! Thanks Aunt Verla and Uncle Mark for always hosting our annual Easter Egg Hunt!

The other night Ellie insisted on holding Jayci and watching TV. I had to laugh because Jayci would not take her eyes off of me. It was like she was begging me to save her but just couldn't say it out loud. But She lived through it and actually didn't cry. She just snuggled right in and relazed for a good 15 minutes till Ellie had her fill of her sister and announced she was done.
A few days prior to that I had Jay laying on the ground on her blankie playing with her over head toys. Ellie begged to watch "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs". As soon as I had the movie going I went up to do the dishes. About 10 minutes later I hear something being drug across the living room and then Jayci was giggling. I went to see what Ellie was doing. She drug Jayci in front of the tv and Ellie had propped her up with a pillow so they could watch. It just made my heart smile because I hope that Ellie wants to continue to do everything with Jayci and make sure she is never left out.

My Oh So Cute Tumbler!
A few months ago I started Ellie in tumbling and am amazed every week how much better she gets. She is so serious about it now and just wants to do "tricks" everywhere and for anyone that will watch. She is growing up so much and it makes me so sad.
Easter
I'm pretty sure I'm the world Worst Easter Bunny. Well I thought I could pull one over on Ellie and buy her Easter while she was with me and just keep it hidden until Easter morning and pull it out. Boy was I ever WRONG!!!! I forget she is so stinking smart and NEVER EVER forgets anything. The first attempt at Easter shopping was last week when Layne got home and I needed to get some stuff in Twin anyway so we took well with us. Well I wanted to get her a nice table and chairs so that was out of the question when I realize just for the table it was $59.99 and then for two chairs it was $59.99. So I opted to buy her a Miniature Little Mermaid set to play with at Church. Well I tried to keep it hidden under other stuff but right away she pulled the stuff off and was asking to play with it in the cart. Well, I told her it was a present and she couldn't so she let it go. Next Day. I ran to walmart and was going to go by myself but I felt guilty leaving Layne home with both the girls so I took the easier of the two Ellie with me. So I still had in mind that I wanted to get her a table with chairs. So of course they have these cute princess fold up table and chairs for $25.00. I was so excited because it was going to serve the purpose that I wanted them for in the first place. Plus I could put them away when we were done. Well, of course the box was huge and the whole way home she just talked about getting her table and chairs set up. Again I tell her they are a present and not for her. She of course was not going to let this one go because she wanted it so bad. Easter Morning. I hid 12 eggs for Ellie to find. Layne sat up the table and chairs and I put the Easter baskets on the table with some cloths. Well, Ellie comes running into the room excited that there were eggs hidden and that her table and chairs were set up. She says "Dad... Come see the table and chairs from MOM." I of course keep come back with the Easter bunny and she says "no mom I was with you remember?!" well I guess you were you little stink.... So I guess Ellie is to smart and there is no more buying anything in front of her for holidays. I sure wish she was still oblivious to that fact but I guess they have to grow up sometime!

4 Months and Airplane Jumper
On Jayci's 4th month birthday I decided to pull out the airplane jumper and see if she liked it. I believe she liked it at first until she realized her sister can push her high in the air and it scared her to death. So Ellie isn't aloud to push her but can bounce Jayci and she LOVES that. She did pretty good sitting in it for the first little while and then was super tired and I put her down for a nap and haven't really tried it since. I sure hope this little one loves it as much as her big sister did. I have so many picture of miss Ellie sleeping away in the airplane.
Also in the last month Jayci has learned to blow raspberries. She blows them all the time: out of frustration or laughing and even farting and burping. It's pretty hilarious. She has also successfully been eating her cereal out of the bowl and with a spoon, morning and night, since the day of her fourth month birthday (today 4/8/09). Not only does she eat a little bit but a HEAPING bowl full and would always take more. We sure love this girl and are enjoying every minute of her except at 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 in the morning.
I sure hope she keeps having pretty blue eyes. But I'm afraid she is going to be a green eyed girl like her sister!Also in the last month Jayci has learned to blow raspberries.
